What we collect

When you donate, volunteer or contact us we collect the details you give us: name, mobile number, e-mail, address, PAN (only if you request an 80G receipt) and your message. The website sets no tracking cookies. Messages sent through WhatsApp are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

How we use it

To issue receipts, to reply to you, to add you to the volunteer group you asked for, to send occasional updates on our work, and to meet legal record-keeping duties under the Income-tax Act and the Bombay Public Trusts Act as applicable in Gujarat.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with our bank and payment provider to process donations, with our auditor and regulators when required by law, and with service providers (hosting and e-mail) under confidentiality.

Retention and your rights

Donation records are kept for eight years as required by law. Other data is deleted on request. Write to meghvinfoundation@gmail.com to access, correct or delete your data or to stop receiving updates.

Children

Our school programmes are arranged with schools; we do not collect children's personal data through this website.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
