Refund and cancellation policy

Donations are gifts and are generally not refundable. We do, however, correct genuine mistakes.

When we refund

• A duplicate payment made in error (for example, the same amount twice within a few minutes).
• An incorrect amount entered by mistake (for example ₹10,000 instead of ₹1,000), reported within 7 days.
• A payment made by someone without authority to use the account, on written request from the account holder.

How to ask

E-mail meghvinfoundation@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 94282 19755 within 7 days of the payment with the transaction reference, amount and reason. We respond within 5 working days and, if approved, refund to the original payment method within 10 working days. Bank or gateway charges, if any, are deducted.

Cancellation

Recurring gifts, when we introduce them, can be cancelled at any time by writing to us; the cancellation applies to future instalments.

Receipts

If a refund is made, the corresponding receipt is cancelled and cannot be used for tax purposes.
